Derek Pleasants, Vice President and Managing Director, Client Services for American Trust. He is focused on deepening client and advisor relationships, developing high levels of satisfaction, while leading client service teams in the management and administration of defined contribution retirement plans. Derek has over 20 years of experience with corporate and multiemployer retirement plan administration, custody services, investments, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining American Trust, Derek held leadership roles at Fifth Third Bank, OneAmerica Retirement Services, and BMO Retirement Services. He is a member of American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and Wisconsin Retirement Plan Professionals. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance) from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.
