Beau Adams serves as President of American Trust Retirement, bringing nearly 3 decades of comprehensive retirement industry leadership to the organization.
Before joining American Trust Retirement, Beau served as Vice President and Head of Retirement & Wealth Management at Horace Mann Insurance Company. In this role, he led with full P&L accountability for retirement, wealth management and annuity businesses. His responsibilities included directing the growth and management of the firm’s retirement plan solutions, overseeing fixed and variable annuity product lines, managing broker-dealer operations and supervising advisory platforms.
Prior to his tenure at Horace Mann, Beau spent 24 years as Partner and Executive Vice President at Benefit Consultants Group & BCG Securities, where he built and led integrated financial services businesses spanning retirement plan consulting, recordkeeping, third-party administration and broker-dealer/RIA management.
Throughout his career, Beau has worked in every aspect of the qualified plan ecosystem. He has been a featured speaker at industry events, including the Pennsylvania Bar Association and National Broker Dealer Conferences. His unique perspective is further enhanced by his experience as a longtime custody client of AmericanTCS, giving him an exceptional understanding of both service provider and client needs.
Beau holds multiple industry certifications, including Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Rider University.
As President, Beau is focused on accelerating American Trust Retirement’s growth while maintaining the organization’s commitment to exceptional client service and operational excellence.
